Today we are going to learn how to make a Mandala Diwali card. Mandalas are works of sacred art in Tibetan Buddhism. The word Mandala comes from the language Sanskrit. Mandala means “circle.” Mandalas are indeed primarily recognizable by their concentric circles and other geometrical figures. We will learn the step by step process of how to draw the mandala for diwali card below along with the images. For this you need some water colors, paint brush, compass, scale pencil and a marker.
REQUIRED STUFF TO MAKE THIS DIWALI CARD:
- Water colors
- Ivory sheet
- Card stock paper
- Paint brush
- Decorative stickers
- Sparkle pen
PROCEDURE TO MAKE MANDALA DIWALI CARD:
Take white chart paper and arrange the water colors (green, red, yellow, blue), and water to dab the colors in the end.
Dab the colors as shown on the white paper using paint brush. First use green color then yellow and red using some water.
Let it dry after it’s done.
Now take a grey ivory sheet for card and stick black color paper which is 1cm less than that of the grey sheet on it. And attach the water colored paper on the black card as shown. Cut the extra part if left.
Using compass and pencil draw the arcs from one end of the card. You can draw the arcs as your wish making any measurements which is your choice. you just have to fill the mandala patterns in the arcs that’s it.
Taking a marker pen, draw the patterns to the circles as shown in the images given.
And write down the wishes for this diwali card.
Also, Stick the black color paper inside the card leaving 1cm on the ends.
Write down the matter you want to wish for the member.
Decorate the card using decorative stickers.
Make a diya on the ivory sheet and cut it out then stick it on the card inside. And your diwali card is done.
